3 Old Apples

Just before these 3 Apples were heading for the compost bin, I thought they would make a still life image with a difference if i got some good natural light on them. I set them up on a black travel sheet and took several shots at various focal points.
These shots were then merged together in photography software and then cut out and replaced onto a completely dark background to make them stand out, further helping the contrast between the Apples and background to give the resulting image.
Paper: C-Type Fuji Matt. Crystal archive paper with a semi-matt finish with a smooth, bright white and ‘slight-sheen’ finish.
